Kelsey Jackson,    Director of Development

Kelsey started in physical production, working as a PA and a director's assistant, before transitioning into creative producing. She has worked in both film and TV on projects such as American Horror Story, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, and American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson. She is currently the Director of Development at ACE Entertainment, producing films that include To All the Boys I've Loved Before, The Perfect Date, Body Cam, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and White Smoke.

TY Bristol,    Manager of Scripted Programming

Ty Bristol is a Television Executive currently serving as Manager of Scripted Programming for BET Networks. With a record of developing high end and commercially successful content, Bristol understands that the value of media lies not only in its ability to entertain, but also in its authentic efforts to tell modern and diverse stories. 

 

Bristol joined BET’s Original Programming team in 2015 where he quickly ascended the ranks after supporting a number of scripted and unscripted projects. Today, he is a Creative Executive in both development and current scripted series for BET’s Original Programming slate. Notable projects include The New Edition Story, The Bobby Brown Story, The Quad, Games People Play, and the forthcoming Will Packer comedy, Bigger – BET’s first original series for its SVOD platform BET+. 

 

The Howard University grad hails from the Washington D.C. area and holds a B.A. in Radio, TV, & Film. Previous experience includes time with Disney/ABC, Smithsonian Channel, and PBS.

liliana Granados,    Creative Executive

Liliana Granados, born in Mexico and raised in Los Angeles, grew up in a family-owned beauty salon where she found inspiration to become a storyteller after being exposed to stories from people of all walks of life. As a first-generation college student, she proudly studied Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California, where she produced several projects, including TV pilots, short films, web series and documentaries. Her experience with internships such as NBC Casting, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Latin World Entertainment furthered her passion for developing projects that celebrate culture and diversity. As a Creative Executive at JuVee Productions, she aims to build and guide the next generation of storytellers. Her goal is to stay at the forefront of changes happening in entertainment and become an integral part of representing and uplifting diverse voices in media.

    Heather McKay,   Creative Executive

Since graduating from University of Miami with majors in Film and Theatre, Heather McKay has spent the past 10 years working on everything from your favorite guilty pleasure reality shows to big budget action films and everything in between.  Even though she has worked on a musical starring Tom Cruise, two Morgan Freeman films and a Justin Bieber world tour, her favorite project to work on was the Virgin America in-flight “Safety Dance” video.

 

She has had the opportunity to work alongside esteemed directors and producers, such as Jon M. Chu (Dir.: Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me 2), Laurie Collier (Dir: Cherry Baby, Sunlight Jr.) and Victoria Pearman (Prod: Vinyl, Get on Up), and was an Associate Producer on Justin Bieber’s Believe documentary and the live action, Jem and the Holograms. 

 

Heather is currently a Creative Executive at Hayley Kiyoko’s company, Rich Youth, where they are developing film and television projects rooted in rich storytelling with an emphasis on LGBTQ+ representation.  Rich Youth strives to bring diversity to the screen and showcase talent from all backgrounds behind the scenes.
